Pythagorean Theorem and Distance Formula R4

The pythagoream theorem is similar to the distance formula in how the both come to the same answer. When doing the distance formula you are conpleting the equation x2-(x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2 all under a radical and the theorem is a^2+b^2=c^2. In the theorem if you are missing one part of the equation you can make up for it by use the remaining two parts. You can do a similar function for the distance formula.
